New tenants who have moved into our homes have said they are totally satisfied with our lettings service for the third month in a row.
In the first six months of the year, overall satisfaction with the service has increased to an amazing 98.1%, and has scored 100% in five of six months, as customers say they are overwhelmingly positive about their experience as we help them move into their new home.
In the last month, customers have been 100% satisfied with their viewings, the condition of their home and with the speed and quality of any repairs that had been carried out after they moved in.
Income Management and Lettings Team Leader Rose King said: “It’s wonderful to hear how happy customers are with their new home and the service they’ve received from us. These results and the positive comments received from customers are a real testament to everyone involved in re-letting our homes.
“Getting things right for customers before, during and after they move in will hopefully lead to them have long, sustainable tenancies and play a part in helping us achieve our overall customer satisfaction targets.”
Every month the Research and Development team ask new customers a number of questions about their new home, including about how their viewing went, staff helpfulness, the condition of their home and any repairs they’d reported after moving in.
One customer who was moving to a home in Yate from another part of the country said he was delighted that he was able to view the property before he moved in via a video call. Another customer who said they were satisfied with the service suggested that people are given a little time on their own when viewing a property to help them make their minds up.
So far this financial year we have re-let over 300 homes to customers in addition to all our new build properties.
