Two of our recent development projects have been shortlisted for building awards.
Our Weir House development in Bristol and our work on the redevelopment of non-traditional properties in Coalpit Heath are both in the running for awards at the Chartered Institute of Building’s South West Built Environment Awards ceremony next month.
Weir House was our first development in Bristol and saw a former 1960s office block transformed into 30 eco-friendly flats. The development, which was a partnership between ourselves and Bristol City Council has been shortlisted for the value award.
Customers moved into the scheme at the start of the year and are delighted with their new homes. Lynette said: “It feels like home. I am relaxed and so happy to have my own place here.”
In Coalpit Heath, we’re nearing completion of our work to redevelop 18 old properties and a rank of garages into 39 new properties. Work started last year and customers are due to move into the new homes in June. We’ve been shortlisted for the client of the year award after being nominated by our partners Quattro Design Architects, who designed the new homes.
As well as these two awards, we’re also in the running for the health and safety award, which will be announced on the night.
The awards ceremony takes place in Bristol on 20 May.
