First shared ownership home in Wiltshire goes on sale

Our first shared ownership home in Wiltshire is now available as we continue to increase our development programme.

The three-bedroom home in the village of Crudwell, is available for £136,000 for a 40% share through our shared ownership scheme. Just a short drive from the nearby Cotswold towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury the home is one of four new homes we’re developing at the Ridgeway Farm site with Edenstone Homes.

Earlier this month the National Housing Federation’s Home Truths report revealed that the average house price across Wiltshire is now £290,000, nearly 11 times people’s average annual earnings.

It’s one of three new shared ownership homes that we’ve made available this week. The other two new homes are in Newlands Avenue in Coalpit Heath in our development to build 72 new homes across several sites in the village and in neighbouring Iron Acton.

We’re on course to develop more homes than ever before this year and over the next 12 months are aiming to complete more than 300 new homes. And our partnership with Bromford will allow us to do even more together, building 14,000 homes over the next ten years.
