Iron Acton residents learn about development details

Villagers living close to our latest development site have been learning more about how the building work will take place.

We held a consultation session with residents in Iron Acton on Wednesday to give them the chance to find out how we’re planning to demolish 18 properties and build 27 new homes in their place. It was also a chance for residents to meet staff from Lovell, the construction company we’ve appointed to build the homes.

All of the properties we’re redeveloping in Iron Acton were built shortly after the Second World War but have deteriorated in condition in recent years, suffering from issues such as damp and draughts. We’re redeveloping these properties, along with 26 in nearby Coalpit Heath to build a total of 72 new homes across the two villages. Work is due to start shortly and the first homes will be ready is spring 2018.
