We've submitted a planning application for the £4m redevelopment of the former Irving Close supported housing scheme.
We're planning to build 30 new homes spread across the site of the former Staple Hill scheme and the former garages in nearby James Road. The homes will be a mixture of one and two bedroom flats, two and three bedroom houses plus a number of one bedroom bungalows.
Development Manager Peter Crouch said: “This is an important development which will provide more high quality affordable housing in Staple Hill. We are excited about redeveloping this site and linking the new development with the surrounding community.”
Assuming the plans are approved by South Gloucestershire Council, we hope to begin building work later in the year. Irving Close is the second former supported housing scheme that we'll be redeveloping. We're currently in the process of building 16 new homes on the site of Newleaze House in Filton.
