Our latest shared ownership homes in South Gloucestershire have gone on sale.
We have six flats in the market town of Thornbury now available, for £76,000 for a 40% share of the home. The homes are among the 70 new affordable properties we are building at Park Farm in the town in partnership with Barratts and David Wilson.
Shared ownership is a simple, affordable way to own a brand new home that means you part buy and part rent a home. At first you buy a share of your property and pay a rent, and sometimes service charges, on the rest. Over time if your lease allows it, you can choose to buy more shares in your home until you own all of it. And as house prices continue to rise it’s becoming an increasingly popular way for people to buy their first home.
Within a short walking distance of the high street which offers a range of independent shops, cafes and bars, these homes also benefit from access to excellent schools and leisure facilities and are close to major transport links.
The homes are among several properties that are currently available to buy through our shared ownership offering. There are also homes available in Weston-Super-Mare, Tetbury, Iron Acton and Crudwell.
